all for just ten bucks
so all this garage door excitement only cost a little time and ten bucks. so i get all mad over very little. i took jenny's advice and had Aaron come look at it. the kid is a master fixer of junk. he can take a pile of crap and make it a radio. it is good to have someone around that can think out side the box.

can i ever get a break.
i hate to always go off on all i have to do and spend. really i like my House and i like how it looks. but yesterday the garage door broke. so now it will not open or close. it aways happens when you don't have enough money to fix it right. now i will have to try to rig the door to make it work. if that does not work then i may have to bite the bullet again. oh well life moves on.

fall and to lots to do
it feels like i am putting more and more irons in the fire. we have yard clean up, my home and my grandmothers who is going through cancer treatments. i have to get some things done for my mother. i have some more house repairs to and i have to of coarse go to work to make the money to do most of it. so is life i guess.
on the family front all my girls have come down with strep. so on top of the before mentioned we have sick kids to deal with. we also just went through a round of dentist visits. didn't we just pay those people off here we go again. school seems to be going well but whitnee is killing me on the home work. she tested a little behind so we are trying to help her catch up. she has the attention span of less that a second. she is really smart but her hair is blond and it shows sometimes. Kirsten is doing great. i think she actually is starting to like school to the point she wants to excel. i mean she had to stay home this morning because of the strep and she cried because she did not want to stay home.
Natalie and i are good. we have butt heads a little on a few things but things are growing faster in the positive sense. we just seem to live one day at a time.

home ownership 3
well we have been doing much to the outside of our home. yesterday we had the windows we ordered installed. so with the new siding and windows also the green grass the place looks great. so my home depression is going a way and a little humble pride comes back in. you have to love where you live and it is sure nice to come home to something nice. now we just have to pay for it all.

mike called it peachy
so a week ago Natalie and i decided to get some peaches and make some of our favorite jam. i of coarse decided to go with my mom's world famous peach butter jam. as i was cooking it was bringing in all the old time memories. i remember the last batch my mother made. when it was gone the earth went into the second dark ages. a few years later there was a beam of light and we found one solitary quart in the back of the shelf. it was world war three at the breakfast table the heavenly treat was gone in like 3 pancakes. so at my house there has been a restoration of all things and the peach butter lives on.

my butt hurts
it's not what it seems. but over this last labor day we got the chance to get a few miles on those said expencive hobbies of ours. first on saturday my friend mike got a date with a girl who's dad is a motorcyle owner. well when mike heard this it was a great way to break the ice and ask her out. he asked Natalie and i along and we went with him to pick her up at her home in Ogden and of to ride around pineview res. so after a great ride and dinner we got home with a little over 200 miles on the bike. i did do a good thing just before i bought a new seat for my bike for Natalie's sake. it had tons more padding and made the trip possible for her. then on Monday we took the four wheelers to the sand dunes for a day of riding. weather was perfect and we had a ton of fun. sad to say we are getting older and it hurts more and more. the play was well deserved and much needed tons of fun.
